Stunning 1937 Ford Coupe for sale. This car comes from one of our collectors who purchased last year but has decided to use the funds from this car to restore another.

When I first heard about this car I didn't think much of it. When I showed up to see the car I was suprised at just how beautiful this coupe was. The seller didn't know anything about the car, he had bought it at an auction solely based upon what he saw. After obtaining a copy of the title with the previous owner's name on it, I did a little investigating and found out quite a bit. Suprisingly, the car had been owned by a man I had sold a Fairlane to just a few years ago, Donald Allen of Clarksville, Georgia! I called Donald and found out the story.

This car was purchased in the early 2000's from a man in the Camp Verde area of Arizona named Bob Everetts. At that time it had 80% of it's original black paint and the miles he was told were original! I am told that all Mr. Everetts had done to this low mileage car was a restoration of the interior. Otherwise it was all original. The new buyers were the Allen brothers of Clarksville, Georgia. One of the brothers, Ernest Allen, was an award winning Ford restoration expert with some AACA award winning cars under his belt. He disassembled all of the body parts and repainted the car entirely. His brother Donald told me that the body was immaculate and had no rust anywhere, ever! All of the rubber was replaced and the chrome beautifully redone. The original firewall pad is still on the car. The car starts; runs and drives beautifully, it shifts and brakes with ease. The paint work is phenominal and the attention to detail is obvious. Currently the radio is not operational, otherwise, everything works beautifully.
