Just in at Left Coast Classics of Sonoma! 1949 Buick Woody 50 Super Estate Wagon. One of only 1,847 ever produced. This is a beautiful, older restoration, a California Car in lovely condition throughout. This example has been with the same family for over fifteen years.
The Fireball-designated straight 8-cylinder engine has been rebuilt; it starts, runs and drives beautifully along with its Dynaflow automatic transmission. The suspension and brakes all feel excellent and the car handles well.
It has replaced the radiator, belts, and hoses; new Interstate battery, flushed brake system and replaced pistons and original, restored a 6-volt electrical system. The car is fully functional.
The exterior is beautifully restored wearing its iconic sea-foam hue of Gala Green, the hood featured the centered bombsight mascot, while the body is adorned with Superscript callouts, lower side trims with forward-mounted rear-fender skins, fender-integrated tail lamps and beautifully designed rear-fender lines.
The original factory maple and elm wood were refinished and reinstalled on this car along with the chrome and trim.
The interior is magnificent with new loop carpeting, Beautiful upholstery and panels and the chrome are polished throughout with the attention to detail on display.
