Beautiful Classic 1956 Jaguar XK140 FHC for Sale

Nice old 1956 Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe for sale. This California car has been in the same family since it was brand new. The engine was rebuilt by a well known Ferrari/Jaguar specialty shop called Modena Motors many years ago in 1976 when the car showed 35k on the odometer.

Since then it has traveled another 22k miles, about 600 miles per year on average.

The car has been regularly maintained by a reputable bay area shop and stored indoors it's entire life. This Jaguar XK140 has a straight body with no rust, one repaint, solid floors and a frame that looks good and is presentable. The paint has a nice shine, as you can see it looks stunning in the photos.

The chrome and glass are all original, and the interior was redone many years ago yet is also usable as-is. The car starts, runs and drives well with nice, high oil pressure and plenty of power. It shifts and brakes nicely as well. The head and block numbers match and all components appear to be correct.

Car comes with a variety of documentation, records and a few spares. (See pictures). It is a pretty old Jag that you can immediately drive and enjoy now and freshen up as you see fit. It is so rare to find any car this age now with such a great pedigree. Buy with confidence.
