We have a nice 1956 MGA Roadster for sale. Nice, honest, two-owner MGA convertible. First owner purchased new in Washington State drove sparingly over the next 40+ years and did a cosmetic restoration in the late 90s. In the early 2000s he sold it to its second owner in West Los Angeles who used it for weekend drives.
his MGA Roadster sports its original numbers matching 1500 motor which runs superbly. Starts runs and drives beautifully with no smoke, great handling, excellent brakes and tires. Just installed new exhaust (replaced the original, factory exhaust), repacked wheel bearings, went though the brakes and gave it a tune up.
Second owner was told by the first that the 60,000 miles were original. Having owned many MGs through the years I find this car to be honest, well cared for and very reliable.
It's been a blast cruising around the California wine country roads during harvest season yet now it's time to find her third owner.
Older repaint shows some chips and wear and there is a dent in the front valance. The chrome and trim appear to be factory original, a plus considering all of the Chinese parts on these cars you see nowadays. The top is in good shape and while the rear window has light clouding, the visibility is still fine.
All in all, this is a great example of a low mileage, well cared for and honest MGA with no rust and in excellent ready-to-enjoy condition.
