1963 Volkswagen Bug for sale. Sold new at Henry Veale Volkswagen in Santa Rosa, California a few miles from where it has lived it's entire life. This rust-free bug had the same owner who turned 95 years old in 2005 and sold it locally.
It traded hands one more time in 2008. This is a nice, mostly original car with both of the California issued black and gold license plates and the Henry Veale dealer license plate frame on the rear.
Aside from it's one recent repaint and newer carpet, it appears to be mostly original with likely exceptions of when various small parts were replaced during services over the years. I also noticed that the front-left fender has been replaced, looks to have been a small bender there. (see photos in the slideshow area for closeups of the inside of the wheel-well area).
With only 116,548 original miles, it starts; runs and drives well. The floors are 100% original and rust free. Has factory "non-fresh" heater boxes in good shape. Rare radio delete blanking plate, still on original 6 volt configuration from the factory.
The original red interior with white accents is nicely preserved, it looks as though one of the seat covers might have been repaired. It does need some headliner material below the rear window (included), otherwise the interior is quite well-preserved.
The engine compartment is dirty but unmolested. Bulkhead stamp/data tag. all match. Good car for collecting as well as basic transportation.
