We don't see too many of these vintage Porsche 911's anymore so it's always fun when I get one in! This Porsche 911T had been in storage from 1979 until 2005. Over $31,000 was invested on it's restoration, the previous owner spent about $6,000 and the most current owner spent a documented $25,000.
Receipts are included with the car. It was professionally maintained and restored by the best early 911 specialists in Los Angeles, TRE Motorsports and painted by Arroyo.
Recent repaint of Glasurit-Brunrot that was beautifully done over an already straight and rust-free car. The glass is excellent and the original bright-work is still in nice shape. The interior was recently re-carpeted with new trunk rugs as well. The original carpet can be included with the car should the new owner desire.
The original seating is very soft and supple, the most current owner has debated replacing due to the siding which is deteriorating on the lower drivers seat. Ideally, the siding should be replaced on that seat and the original leather kept. The interior really has a nice patina and still is mostly original, very comfortable and quite well preserved.
The engine is a rebuilt by previous owner, it's a 1972 2.4L Flat 6, with rebuilt heads, new rings, bearings as well as upgraded chain and tensioners. new clutch, rebuilt transmission, new gaskets, Bilstein shocks, brake lines, valve cover gasket, new alternator, clutch, flywheel and much more.
Motor work done by Sport Haus Auto in Reno, Nevada. Most current owner has spent over $25,000 on a variety of improvements, receipts included with car.
