1977 Triumph TR7 Coupe for sale in Sonoma California. This original and rust free California car is equipped with factory air conditioning. The car still sports it's original, California issued blue and gold license plates.
Built in May of 1977 and still wearing it's original Inca Yellow paint from the factory. The exterior is rust-free along with the floors with no signs of filler or paintwork. The glass is also in good shape and the exterior appears complete.
The interior is very comfortable and in good condition. Most systems are in good, working order except the air conditioning is not blowing cold, the hazard lights are not working and the combination blinker/horn switch (works yet is worn) and needs replacing.
Also, the right side headlamp door is not opening. Otherwise everything looks to be in good working order including heater, stereo and gauges.
This TR7 starts; runs and drives very nicely with no smoke, smooth idling and plenty of power. I suspect that the 106k miles are original though cannot be sure. I do not know if the engine has ever been rebuilt. The clutch feels good and the shifting up and down through all five gears works well.
The brakes feel responsive and the suspension works well. All in all this feels like a strong car mechanically and a good one for someone who wants to enjoy a fun little post-modern British icon and doesn't mind a bit of tinkering from time to time. TR7's are still a great value and actually are great handling cars.
