Tidy 1993 Volkswagen Eurovan Westfalia Weekender for sale at Left Coast Classics. Purchased new in November of 1993 at Commonwealth Volkswagen in Santa Ana, California. Most current owners purchased to tow behind their motorhome several years ago as they toured the country.
We are told that 50k or so of the miles on the bus were clocked while being towed. He is a fastidious car guy and has kept this bus reliable, good running condition. Included is a large cache of repair and maintenance history and original books and manuals.
The 2.5L I-5 MPI engine starts at the turn of the key; runs and drives quietly and nice with plenty of power. The suspension and braking feel good and the bus gets down the highway nicely and runs smoothly and cool. It has newer tires and hubcaps though the original silver hubcaps are included.
There is a hitch on the back so that a bike rack can be used. Much work has been completed including (but not limited to) oil cooler seal, axle shaft, new catalytic converter, brakes, timing belt, alternator, upper and lower ball joints, power steering pump, etc.
The interior is original, very comfortable and in very nice shape. It includes the privacy curtains and the tent is in very good condition as well. The exterior has just been repainted in its original color to freshen it up.
This will make for some fun summer traveling this year. Though this bus is kept in California, it is titled at their second home in Montana. Included a clear, Montana title, much documentation and original books.
